Plot Summary

Starship Troopers 2 is an indirect sequel to the original Starship Troopers that went straight to video. Had it not featured the same bugs and the same helmets from the first Starship Troopers, you wouldn’t be able to tell that this was even in the same universe. The focus of the movie was on a single event, that showed a sort of evolution of the war between the bugs and humans in the Starship Troopers universe. The particular event showed its significance because the bugs the humans were fighting against were using smaller bugs that took control of humans, inhabiting their brain, being able to spread like a virus from one to the other until there are no more humans left.

Plot: In Barrow, Alaska, seventy percent of the population of five hundred and some dwellers travels on the day of the last sunset, since the town will stay along the next thirty days without sun light. Then they receive a phone call from the local creator telling that his dogs have been slaughtered; later Eben finds the operator of the cell tower decapitated. He arrests a troublemaker drifter and the stranger frightens him telling that “they are coming and the locals will be dead”. Sooner Eben discovers that the town is under siege and attacked by a gang of bloodthirsty vampires, and together with a few survivors, they hide in a empty cellar expecting for the next sunrise.
