Maxis Software: Widget Workshop

Widget Workshop is a neat computerized “science kit” that lets kids devise gadgets, perform experiments, and design puzzles by using various parts. Like most other Maxis “toys,” Widget Workshop is more of a sandbox simulation than a game: kids can combine various parts – such as timers, switches, logic and electrical components – and then just observe what happens. This way, kids are encouraged to experiment and be creative, but at the same time the wide range of widgets and possibility means they will likely seek your help to extract the program’s full potential.

The interface is extremely easy to use. All the parts are shown on-screen, and they can be dragged and dropped on to the “workspace” area. Mouse clicks are all that is required to connect them all. For example, you can click a keypad widget, connect it to the the solar system “superpart,” attach a “multiplier” to it. Finally, push the green “Go” button to see what happens. Going through the tutorial once or twice is recommended for the younger kids, so they know what each button does.

If creating their own inventions aren’t enough, kids can try to solve the game’s 25 challenging puzzles, or conduct 30 pre-defined experiments described in the “Workshop Activities book.” The wide range of widgets – ranging from everyday objects like timers and switches, to more complex equipments like the magnifier, logic gates, and thermometer – means that kids will learn a wide array of scientific principles when they are having fun. Logic, gravity, sound, light, weather, electricity, computer programming, and arithmetics are some of the subjects kids will learn without knowing it. Definitely one of the best ways to learn about math and science, Widget Workshop is highly recommended for kids of all ages.

How to use
1.) Download files from the links
2.) When done downloading, extract ‘DLCpart1.rar’ to wherever you like
3.) Go to the folder where you have MW2 installed, usually
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2)
4.) Go to the map called ‘zone’ and create a new map called “dlc” ( Without the quotes )
5.) Go to the map where you have extracted the downloaded files.
6.) Copy all the .FF files from that folder to the ‘dlc’ folder that you’ve just created.
7.) Now go to the ‘main’ folder in your call of duty modern warfare 2 map.
8.) Paste the iw_22.iwd folder there. If it asks for replace, click ‘yes to all’
9.) Go back to the call of duty modern warfare 2 folder, and paste the cracked iw4mp.exe there.

It is adviced to create a backup of your original iw4mp.exe.

Note : This is bannable, use a VAC-disabler.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight commemorates this double anniversary by offering more planes, better graphics, and more options than ever before right out of the box, but the game will likely reach its full potential only if it receives great support from its player community.

Fans of the previous games in the series will be up and running in no time thanks to the new game’s familiar interface, but Flight Simulator 2004 also happens to be the most beginner-friendly game in the series. It’s easier to access game options, and each option is actually explained by the game. There’s also an excellent interactive flight school hosted by aviation veteran Rod Machado that serves as a surprisingly deep training tool.

Aside from the historical aircraft, Flight Simulator 2004′s big news this time around is its weather effects. You can set up in-flight weather any way you like or go for the ultimate in realism by having the game automatically download real-world weather reports from the Jeppesen database every 15 minutes. We tested this feature in a variety of weather conditions flying out of a hometown airport, and sure enough, the conditions depicted onscreen corresponded with what we saw from the window, for the most part.
